Sales Consultant

EC Credit Control has been helping New Zealand business owners with credit management solutions since 1989, working hard to improve their cashflow.

If you enjoy helping people solve problems, have great composure, and can remain calm under pressure then this may be a suitable role for you. We’re looking for organised and attentive problem solvers to join our internal Terms of Trade sales team based in our Napier head office.

Your time will mostly be spent on the phone or in online / virtual meetings talking to business owners about how we can help them by integrating our Terms of Trade services into their operations. 

What does this role entail? 

• Support small and medium businesses across New Zealand.
• Access to a large client and data database – never short of prospects.
• Contact leads and schedule online discovery meetings.
• Identify client needs and present suitable solutions via virtual meetings. 
• Manage the full sales cycle: from initial contact to implementation and ongoing support.

 What do we need from you? 

• Customer service or credit management background beneficial, but not essential.
• A great attitude - you'll have plenty of patience and positive vibes for our customers.
• Ability to build rapport over the phone and via video calls.
• You communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with active listening skills.
• Proficiency in computer and relevant data / CRM skills.
• Relish the opportunity to work alongside others and enjoy our high-performance culture.
• Legal eligibility to work in NZ as per NZ Immigration requirements.
