About the role
This is a great opportunity to take your next step in a finance team environment. You will be working directly with the CFO in a varied role designed to support the businesses accounting function. As the successful candidate your key responsibilities will include:
- Daily reconciliation of banking transactions
- Managing parts of the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions of the business
- Undertaking client & management reporting
- Undertaking account reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.
- Other projects and assignments as
required, including budgets, forecasts, and financial modelling.

About you
We require a motivated, energetic person to join our team. Prior experience working in a finance or accounts environment is preferred. Given the variety of stakeholders you will interact with, your communication skills will be strong both oral and written. Attention to detail and accuracy is essential. While the workflow will be directed on a day-to-day basis the role will stretch your ability to use your initiative and would suit someone with a proactive mindset who will be comfortable to manage a changing workload across the team.
Key qualities we look for include:
- Strong numeric skills – including excel experience.
- Communication Skills – clear and concise verbal and written that others can easily understand.
- Initiative – a bias for taking action, making decisions and proactively doing things for both current and future opportunities.
- Adaptability – Responds positively to change. Maintains effectiveness when confronted with new work situations or the uncertainty and ambiguity that comes with change. Is open to new ideas, assignments and approaches.
- Eye for Detail –
we will equip you with the tools and templates for jobs you undertake, but you
will already be an organised and structured problem solver, with a high level
of accuracy and ability to identify the detail.
